My SIL's cat bit my sisters foot so she had to go a&e

This cat is strange because she loves to go into her cage, but she refuses to leave the cage at the vet. I have to completely take the cage apart. I have tried tipping the cage upside down and she just clings to the sides like someone who has fallen down a well and is trying to cling to the sides to prevent themselves from sliding down any further.
