Well if you don't understand this let me explain the apparent joke: vegans can't shut the f*ck up about the fact they are vegans. They seem to find a way to work it into every conversation.
There have been too many times where I've happened to order a vegetarian option and had a meat eater (sometimes a complete stranger) say to me something like, "Eh lad you want to get some fookin protein down ya"
It's always seemed the other way around to me, so I really don't understand where that stereotype of vegans comes from. From what I can tell it's just a bullshit line that we get fed, like most other things.
