My favourite 60's albums would be very different from those which I think would be put as the 'Greatest'. If I were to make a top 10 60's albums, I'd have to do it from a neutral point of view, taking into account influence and how it represents the culture of the time the best. While my favourite top 10 would be those I enjoy the most. It'd probably be very, very different to what I'd put as the 'Greatest'.
Also, the reason why I always think what I do about the way you come across as, is because whenever I like a band you don't, you seem to think I'm stupid for liking them, etc. And from just reading posts, that is actually true.
Well no offense, but in my opinion you do like some horrible bands. You also like some great bands, unlike Walshy, which compensates for the former, which keeps me from treating you like said Walshy.

Yeah, I don't think like that. When I say I'm going to compile a list of greatest albums I'll (and I'd expect others to do the same) just list my favourites. I don't see the use of respecting certain bands just because they're influential. That way, I might have to put Madonna and U2 on a greatest records of the 80's list, while I think their music is actually shit. Well yeah, I do like some terrible bands, I know that. I actually know they are bad bands myself a lot of the time. Of course, I don't like all of the bands you like either, even though we do share a lot of common taste in music. Kinda.
