the thing that made the original so scary was he looked like a regular ****ing clown which is already terrifying in and of itself

this clown is all supposed to be all all creepy looking already like who the **** wouldn't be immediately afraid of that thing if you saw it in the sewer no one would go near it and run away asap like you could never be like "c'mon down here billy it's fun!" because he already looks like a murderous clown

Ur so right.

Also nobody will ever be better than Tim Curry. Because he's Tim Curry.

Don't even know why they felt they needed to remake it.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, amirite?

Get some new ****ing ideas.

I'm probably gonna use that now as if I said it myself

Thanks

well they could've done it right and not made the clown so spooky!

CLOWNS ARE ALREADY INHERENTLY SPOOKY!!!!

Gonna try to go to that festival in San Diego later this year

Omg me too!

See u there buddy!

i'm also bitter about It because they parted ways with Cary Fukunaga as both writer and director because he wanted to make an "unconventional horror film" meaning it was way more interesting than what they could ever have!!!!

NOW they've rewritten his script and they've given it a Stranger Things vibe by making a "homage" to the 80's horror genre like wow okay great i really wanna know what Fukunaga had in mind for the film
