trouble shooting on aim

i got this virus thing on aim sending random people on ma buddy list a website about pictures. recently one of ma friends told me my s/n is messing up. I tried changing ma password but i messed up my security question so now I have to wait 24 hours. What do I do ?

Run Spybot and Ad Aware. And a full system scan of your Anti Virus software. Maybe check your start up and services for suspicious programs.

Scan your PC with antivirus and antispyware.

I recommend Norton AV or AntiVir for antivirus.
And SUPERAntiSpyware or MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware for anti-spyware.

Then download and install the latest version of AIM.
