But when Spiderman beat SS, they were 1 on 1, as Shang Chi left to help Black Widow (who was having identity problems at the time) fight Viper.

the only time Spiderman has ever beaten Sam was in part due to environmental circcumstances.
And Spiderman was "knackered" because of what Sam had already done to him.
