This is an interesting thread.

I've just started reading Shadow Hunter, but page 28 seems to indicate that Dasha believes Anoon to be "second to none", but that isn't conclusive.

Also, the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook states this:

Sorry for the poor quality. The scan wasn't that hot and I tried to enhance the dark lines to make it more readable.

His ability is "considerable", but this further points out that Anoon's fabled prowess is embellished by his padawan.

I'd caught that, but I thought there was a bit in The Approaching Storm about Bondara's skills as well, one that came from narration. I know it's there, I'm just not sure whether it did come from narration.

I have the book around here somewhere, I'll double check. I was planning on rereading that one next, actually.

Update (from the Jedi Academy Sourcebook: Anoon Bondara's entry states that his Padawan learners and students regard him as a warrior whose skills are without peer. However, the entry itself says that Bondara "humbles himself" when he spars against "superior fighters" such as Qui-Gon Jinn and Mace Windu, though the sourcebook does go out of its way to regard his skills as "considerable."

So the conclusion is thus that while Anoon Bondara is easily one of the most skilled duelists and instructors in the Temple, he is not the best by any means.

Definitely. Plo Koon would wreck his shit.

Oh God no.

Anoon's remains are kept in a creek along with Walt Disney, just waiting for medical science to progress.
