I really enjoyed this movie. I particularly enjoyed having to think it through, at times I had to pause the film to discuss something I didn't quite grasp with Jamie, even though we only just managed to clarify things enough to continue watching 😂 I loved that the ending was ambiguous, not all wrapped neatly. I also am beginning to love Leonardo DiCaprio, he's most definitely improved with age.
Just saw this. I know I'm late to the party. Anyway, damn. It was intense as all hell, and amazingly crafted.
And the people trying to nail down whether it was going to stop spinning or not are hilarious. Guys, that was the point of ending it there. Let it rest.
I laughed at the end of the credits when the "impending kick" music started playing. It was like "this is ending, back to your reality..." Brilliant little touch there.

There's no debate to the end anyway...The kids in his dream sequences are played by different children than the ones in the last scene....They are also wearing different clothes...Thus he's obviously not dreaming.

Missing the forest for the trees. The whole thing is a commentary on the nature of reality and our usual perception of it. Ending the movie as it's still spinning but just as it starts to wobble is a microcosm of that. It literally doesn't matter whether or not it's a dream, the message is still there.
Which, as stated, is why any debate over "is it or isn't it" is patently silly.
So I'll go ahead and agree with you, there's too much to suggest that it's real to believe otherwise. Agreed. But my point is that the debate over it, even to definitively set one over the other, is missing the larger point.
