Etna heard the place rumble and shake. She looked around confused.
One of her prinnys that was gaurding the hall way opened the door.
Prinny number 3: Master Etna! We have to go Dooood! This place is collapsing, if we don't leave. We're all gonna di- All of a sudden you hear the other prinny screaming and then suddenly blowing up. A piece of the ceiling had fallen on top of the poor thing.
The prinny that was at the door ran inside the room scared. DOOD! he looks at her M-Master Etna?
Etna stood there for awhile, looks at Ayaka who's probably terrified, and then at Masamune who's knocked out. She stayed there thinking of what to do, as soon she felt the place shake again she hurried to pick up Ayaka and throw her on the prinny. Hold her and Carry her! Let's get out of here She went over to the knocked out One-Eyed Dragon of Oshu and sluggishly moved his big body over her. I deeply regret knocking you out... She took out her Spear and swung it at the wall. A red energy ball comes out of the spear and blows a hole on the wall creating a new route out of the room. Etna's tail scooped up Ayaka's friend Taichi from the ground and held him close by Hurry up you stupid prinny! She started running out the base while carrying the man over here back.
Prinny number 3 hurried to follow her while carrying Ayaka above his head. Etna kept blasting pieces of the building from landing on any of them as they run out of the base. Once they made it outside the base, Etna trips and falls next to the other teammates outside with Masamune on top of her. Her tail lets go of the squirrel thing. She starts panting, a bit tired and dropping her spear next to her.
The Prinny stops next to Etna and sets Ayaka on her feet.
Meanwhile, Techna was still on her spot. She took out a beef jerky she had stuffed in her pocket, ignoring the fact it had lint and any other germs that a pocket would have. She takes a bite out of it and chews on it while aiming at the big guy on top of the base. She moved her dial into maximum power, 9. And she starts shooting the big guy on the face over and over
Spider-man looked over and saw Etna get out with the remaining team members. He smiled and quickly shouted to everyone, "Alright everyone We need to retreat, We will go the opposite direction the others went. And figure out what to do till they contact Mason from there." Spider-man nodded and took off away from the others with Jen on his back, leaping the whole way to get there faster since they're weren't many things to websling from but everynow and then he would find one and utilize it.
Brian's team managed to sneak well across Nakoma's territory and his land looked much more rich and flourishing than the barren wasteland they lived around. They would soon see The Scion laid out on a cross next to Nakoma's tornado. There wasn't anyone else around and it seemed to be a trap, but they had no other choice but to save him, however Brian wanted to exercise caution. "So um, Amadeus, how do you think we should go about this? It's obviously a trap but I'm certain that's him."
As Harkin and the others came closer something unexpected happened, a few traps went off and smoke surrounded them, it was nonlethal, but it did keep them blinded. A man appeared before them lazily sitting in a tree and holding his sword that randomly had a huge flower on it. He placed the traps there as a first wave of defense not knowing if the people were friend or foe, this would disorient them and give him the jump off if they were evil.
"Barbados Joseph at your service guys, Protranser extraordinaire! So state your business with the Trapmaster, ally of the Tempest King or rebel?" He said with a laid back tone, he jumped down from the branch and revealed a young black man with no shirt and an Australian hat with a flower in it and some black shorts. At the moment he meant them no harm, but he was ready to defend himself if they belonged to Nakoma's empire.
She waved a hand in front of her face and glanced about; taking a quick head count to make sure everyone was there. “We mean no harm. We have women and children amongst our group. They need rest. We were attacked by Nakoma’s men.” She placed herself in front of the group, ready to defend them with the help of the others. “If we are not welcome then we shall go on our way.”
"Well of course you're welcomed just promise not to go all baddie and hurt me and Ms. Moree. Come along my friends. I'll introduce you to her." He said with a cocky grin, but he was genuinely a good guy and he lead them into the house and waited for his friend to come downstairs. "Well Lady Kyle shall be down here shortly, she'll make sure you're all taken care of." Not many knew this but Kyle was the same name of Nakoma's true love, the woman he grew up with and the woman he lost a long time ago which was the beginning of his descent into darkness. She was believed to be killed by him in a blind rage, but if this truly is her then she's still alive and the best chance the heroes have against stopping the Tempest King.
She hesitated, throwing a nervous glance at Siren and Felicia. (sorry if I leave anyone out. I don’t know who’s in what group.) “We might as well go in. He seems trusting enough… Maybe they will help.” She shrugged and motioned for everyone to come inside. She sent Brian a short message to let him know where they were. ‘We found a house. A woman named Kyle lives here with a man by the name of Barbados Joseph.’ She nodded her thanks to Joseph, resting her hands on one child’s shoulders.
Techna kept shooting the big man that destroyed the base, eventually her Ion Rifle blew smoke from all sides. What the? She started hitting it and looking around to see what's wrong. It must of over heated...Guess i went trigger happy.... She shrugs and took out a cube and slapped it on the rifle and it sticks like glue, then slaps her last metallic cube right onto it. Slowly the rifle formed into the giant rocket launcher she had before that caused the base to be caught in the first place. She got up and maintained her balance with the rocket launcher this time and shot two of its missiles towards the big monster. The force the missiles made Techna fall back on the ground with her launcher, though this time a shot didn't go to waste.
Etna got up and got hugged by Ayaka. Yeah...whatever...come on lets go She dusted herself off before picking up Masamune and following spiderman.
Prinny number 3 and 1 follows Etna.
Prinny Number 2 continued to silently follow Brian
Soon Kyle walked down the steps and welcomed her guests, she was equally as beautiful as Nakoma, except she was kind and caring. She was also a mutant, with hot pink hair, ivory skin, her body was cloaked in violet robes, the same ones Nakoma used to wear when they were younger. They served as her last memento of when they were together and happy before he went insane. She gave them all a bow and spoke with Harkin.
"Hello all and welcome to my home. You're welcome to stay as long as you like. Me and Barbados don't mind. Are you all hungry?"
Titannus was starting to drift off and go his own way but Techna grabbed his attention and he charged towards her in a blind rage, tanking every blast she shot at him with ease.
All of a sudden Nakoma finished what he was doing and descended from his tornado and stood on top of the pyramid he had his slaves craft in memory of Kyle.
"No trap, it's just me. I plan on using Scion's blood to baptize this holy monument and you guys shall bear witness to this very moment that is unless you're willing to make a deal..." He said eying the boy and stroking his chin. "Trade me the boy for Scion, and I'll allow you to leave the holy land of Genosha with your lives. I'm sure I can put his body and mind to work as one amongst thousands of slaves. He's young and he probably still has dreams and I'd love to be the one to crush them. Give him to me."
