deadpool finished cleaning the swords and even managed to clean his shirt and coat a little bit. then got up from the seat after sheathing the swords. he picked up the swords and matching wooden swords and waed down the aisle, he also grabbed the cookie jar on his way and woke carter up, who was now sleeping.
he walked down and crouched infront of shorty and openned the cookie jar
"want a cookie shorty?" he asked setting the swords down

Harkin forced a smile and took a cookie. She was still really upset, but who really cares about what kids think these days? No one had asked her what SHE wanted to do. They had fought over her like two boys at daycare would fight over who got to play with the firetruck first. No one cared that she wanted to go see the East Imperial Palace to visit the garden. She wanted to see the Sensoji Temple to pray for her mother.

So with a smile on her face she ate her cookie while staring at her feet. She didn't know what to say.

Highland let out a hearty laugh. "Ay, that I did! Two jars of some of the best saki ye will ever taste!" With that, he handed a jar to Scott, and started pouring from his own.

carter noticably didn't clap, and didn't pay attention, he was busy writing a philosophy paper, but wouldn't have clapped anyway. he hated clapping, even when it was an assembly. carter was writing along merily when his pen sadly ran dry and sighed deeply.
"hey visor? you got any pens on this ship?" carter asked as he searched himself
"oh wait, nevermind, found one, continue whatever your doing there buddy" carter said loud enough for scott to hear him clearly. he went back to writing

Deadpool on the other hand shoved a cookie in his mouth and swallowed, he crrently was wearing street clothes so he didn't worry bout the mask
"sorry you had to see me like that earlier Shorty, couldn't have been too pretty" he apologized, sorta

He poured his own cup and drunk with Highland and there was a smile on his face, there were smiles on everyone's face except for Carter, so Scott decided to tease him a bit. "Oh my young sick and hypocritical friend. Is there something wrong with you? Want us to land again and you can go outside with Uncle Scott and talk about it?" He took another drink of his sake and went back to drinking with Highland who was beginning to feel incredibly comfortable around.

"i had an uncle scott once, he died, got shot in the head" carter replied without looking up from his paper

"There goes that hypocrite in you. I've disarmed a room full of gunmen before anyone could pull the trigger. I've fended off 6 men barehanded...while blindfolded. You're like 16, 17? You're supposed to be a hero kid, what have you done of any significance since your first day on the job?"

She shrugged and wiped her hands off on her pants. "Ya, well seeing my best friends kidney dragging on the floor isn't my way of celebrating our victory." she thought back to how she had fainted. 'God everyone must think I'm a whimp now.' She thought.

Highland continued to drink with Scott. He had immense respect for Scott's no nonsense, to the point style of leadership, and believe he could learn a lot from this much more experienced hero. He was unsure of how to say this to him, however, so he just kept drinking and laughing with he secret mentor.

I was foiling Magneto's plans and leading a team of mutants since I was 15, took on Mr. Sinister, I've defeated my whole team of X-Men while injured and they were trying to kill me, and recently I've lead a team of heroes to save Japan from two monsters. You should smile more, be cheerful and enjoy your time with us. You're kind of behind and you need to keep up with the rest of us and progress accordingly, but for now you may finish your homework. Make sure you check your work before turning it in." Scott was having fun with him, but decided to leave him alone for now, he's too emotional and serious but that shell will be cracked sooner or later.

Harkin made a 'duh' face. "Hello! Who else would I share pillows and cookies with?Besides, I'm a Kid. I don't care what people did in the past, or how they look."

"good for you, you've been fighting crime and evil doers since you were 15, i started outa the milatary, and i sure hope you have done more than me in your career, you've got like what 40 years on me?" carter asked he hated being spoken down to like a child, he also wasn't used to it

a small tear dripped down deadpool's face, a very small one, he then embrace harkin in the biggest bear hug ever, but made sure not to actually hurt her
"by the way, i'm sure nobody thinks your a wimp, cept maybe etna, but that demon chick has issues" deadpool whispered into her ear after her set her down

Harkin blushed brightly. "Aaawww man! You're gonna make me cry." She rubbed her eyes, then looked down at his swords. "You got some new ones."

"umm, no not really, you see i need a sidekick that can defend herself, incase you know she's gotta save my keister or gotta fend for herself, so i bought these for you, and the wooden ones are so i can teach you how to use, i've already tought somebody else my techinques and he nearly as good as me(taskmaster😛)"[/color] deadpool told her kinda shyly but slid them over to her

"And back to the grown up's conversation... you know I did most of that before I was 20. Leading a team and beating Magneto numerous times is pretty amazing is it not?" Everything he said was aimed at Highland as he took another sip of sake.

~thats also a team behind him and over a 5 year span, he's only been heroeing for like a year, maybe year and half~
carter went back to what he was doing, he decided not to waste time arguing with him.

Harkins blush deepened. Without warning she threw her arms around Deadpools neck and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Wade! I can't wait to start!" She would have to split her time between Wades lessons, and her fathers Olympian training. With both, she would be one bad ass telepath!

She laughed, only because he kept saying 'kiester,' and picked up the swords. "I can't make any promises, but I won't let you down!" She gave him a big grin. "Now I have double the awesomeness! Olympian and Wade training. Haha!"
