"It's because you are only as good as the opposition faced before you. You as heroes are nothing if you can't defend what you love. The world isn't nice and it doesn't play by the rules of honor, the more pain you know and feel then the more you are willing to do to protect what you have left. To be honest, most of you aren't worth anything when it comes to being a hero in my eyes. She is the weakest, the most unstable, telepaths are the worst of the breed. I've seen it myself, when Cyclops was killed Jean lost all focus and attacked us in a blind rage and we easily defeated her. Emma is weaker and more unstable than anyone I've ever seen. Spider-man chuckled to himself as Reeka flew off and began to focus back on Ashlocke. He Saw Ashlocke running towards him and began massive amounts of webbing at his body in an attempt to completly wrap him up.
Controller was struck by the tree and was knocked farther away, he grunted as he telekenticly rose a large chunk of the earth from the ground and up into Brian.

Spider-man struck against a tree and hit the ground, he groaned from the pain his back was feeling but stood up anyway. After a few moments he lept over the trees back to the battle field. He held his arms out and his two dagger like stinger slid out from a few inches behind where the webs come from. "Sorry to tell you this, But I don't give up"

Brian braced himself for the impact from the rock and it broke upon contact. He didn't have time to stop and rethink their overall strategy so he kept moving through flight incredibly fast. Brian then laid out their new plan once he was done observing the battlefield.
"Sue! Find Reeka and encase her with a shield, then I need you to focus another shield on the spider feral to seal off her pheromones before Spidey turns on us, then shrink the bubble until she passes out. Wizard! Assist with The Controller, keep him unbalanced on continually on the defensive side. Spider-Man if you can hear this then finish that guy quickly or I'll speed blitz him for you. Now everyone regroup and prepare for our counterattack!"

He looked up at Reeka and smiled "umm how about you help me with these bad guys, and we can go play pranks on all my friends here" He didn't wait her response and lept over onto Ashlocke stabbing him in the side with his stingers. The stingers injected a venom into him that on a normal human cuases temporally paralysis, he had no idea what it would do to someone like him though.
Controller took advantage of the situation and mentally tossed the distracted Brian in the opposite direction of everyone. He then ran towards the others to add to the attack.
