How he knew her name, she had yet to figure out. It was of no importance though, and she lowered and sheeted her blade. Doom could have told him. Wouldn't surprise her, given her impression of the character of this Doom "Put him down, Spider-Man" she commented and eyed how Spider-Man was lifting Fury up into the air. "Look for the bite marks on his neck and be done with it"
"Times change. I know that better than most. Put the man down. If he's not who he claims he is, we'll deal with that problem when it becomes a problem. Are you saying we should head further into this lair?" She asked Spider-Man and walked over to the opening of the cell, halting by the edge of it and looking at the rest of the group. Skrull?
Fury kicked Spider-Man away and brushed himself off.
"Do not insult me with accusations on being a Skrull. I am much higher than that pitiful race. Furthermore you are not permitted to touch me. Only one man has that honor and you are not he, but I'll do you all a favor, I'll let all of you heroes meet him soon enough."
Fury snapped his fingers and revealed their true form which turned out to be Loki.
"Times change alright Silver, but you're just as nieve as I've heard of. You know there is a reason why Doom doesn't guard this place nor the tunnel you vagabonds crawled through. Honestly who would be stupid enough to try and sneak into his castle that way if anyway at all?"
"Who would indeed. Now excuse us. We have a job to do" she frowned, pulling her blade once more. Silver couldn't care less about what this man, or any other thought of her. If he was hostile, they would find out soon enough. They didn't have time to chat with every piece of obstacle they came across.
Danny's hands began glowing as he readied himself not sure what to do
Spiderman landed on his feet and gave Loki a funny look under his mask.
"Wow Loki I heard the rumors but I didn't belive them. Who knew I mean I always thought you were a little femine but to go all out and get a sex change, wow. So does Asgard have good rates for that kind of thing or are you just a special case since you're royal and all?"
"Save your strength dear girl, you're going to need it. Save your smart comments for someone who cares Spider-Man. Thou should know better than to try and anger the Goddess of Evil."
With but a clap of her hands Loki teleports them out of the dungeon and into a coliseum built for fighting and the people of Latveria's amusement. She moved back up to the King's area of the Coliseum and appeared behind Doom with her arms resting on his shoulders.
"They're not a smart bunch now are they? I told you I would bring them to you."
"I never doubted you for a minute my dear, now sit by my side and enjoy the show before us."
Doom handed Loki a glass of white wine and signaled for two of his Doombots to bring forth the prisoner. They appeared out of the gate and began dragging the real Fury.
"Greetings heroes, I knew you'd come sooner or later as I said before. Now your ticket out of here is to pass the challenges that DOOM sets before you, but let's make this a bit more interesting shall we?"
Doom pressed a button and a roof appeared over the coliseum and the heroes immediately began to feel different.
"I believe some of you are feeling different by now right? With your own power you could easily handle the lot of my Doombots, but if I inhibit your powers then maybe you'll put on a better show. I wouldn't try teleporting anywhere Nightcrawler, for DOOM has mastered the structure of the X-Gene and now you are powerless. The same goes for you two as well Emma and Shalimar. Your gene that made you was a bit different but I could sense it easily thanks to Emma when she tried to enter my mind. Spider-Man, let's see how lucky you are without your Spider-Sense and Brian, aren't you feeling a bit unconfident? You're alternate persona should also feel the lack of Otherworld energy flowing through his body. Now prepare yourselves and entertain the people of Latveria, for they deserve a good show."
The gates opened up and Doom's standard Doombots entered the battlefield all ready to fight. There are 30 of them.
"I need not my powers to vanquish these men" Silver uttered, taking hold of her blade and pulled it forth. Silver was confident in her abilities, given how she had practised martial arts for many years. She learnt long ago that one shouldn't put confidence in magic. The confidence was to be focused on oneself and the magic used as merely a tool. A weapon. Another extension of the self. "If it's entertainment he seek, I'll gladly grant him his last pleasure in life"
Spiderman looked around as the doombots started to enter
"wow doombots this will be easy, even without my spider sense"
while they stood there Danny had already ran forward and punched a hole straight through one of the doom bots. and flung its body over by the others.
Fury stood up and wiped some blood from his mouth, he was covered in blood and bruises and his clothes were all ripped up. He looked over to Albion noticing the large sword. "Bran Give me that sword now!! That's an order"
(Actually he didn't do anything to her powers, since he hasn't had enough time to study her.)
"Ok team, we're practically powered down, but we're still in this. We can win this fight against the Doombots. First thing we must do is not panic, focus on the enemy in front of you. Albion stay near Emma, Nightcrawler and Shalimar. They're too vulnerable due to their lack of powers at the moment. Silver, these things are called Doombots which are robots designed to look like Doom himself. They run off of electricity, the very energy you feed off of. If you can then absorb their life force to thin out their ranks. If you have a limit then don't overdo it."
Bran looked at him like he was crazy and he didn't want to give it to him, but it was an order from a higher officer.
"Sure take it, I'm just glad you think of us all as your friends."
Silver eyed Brian. After a swift thought she realised that her powers weren't gone. She could still sense the enemies, along with Doom and the others. She had lived with it her whole life, so she kinda just guessed it didn't feel any different to not have it. She sheeted her blade once more and eyed Brian "Let's see what the future has to offer" she commented and bolted away as lightning.
She impacted the ground at the center of the battlefield, reforming and jumping up into the air. She extended her arms and began levitating. She focused on the energy of the "Doombots" and clutched her fists. At first there was nothing, but as she began channeling, she sensed how their energy added onto hers. Electricity was literally seen drawn from every single Doombot on the field and entered her body.
Those Doombots closest to her fell to the ground, completely drained of energy and she kept on going. The rush that she experienced. The incredible feeling of power. The joyous true powers that she realised she besat, it was all so much more than she had ever imagined. Her heart beat faster, and she closed her eyes because of the energy overflowing, litterally seeping out of her eyesockets and she kept on going still.
"She has absorbed the energy from my Doombots and empowered herself. I would simply need to overload her or initiate my suit's reserve power. Perhaps I will continue to feed this cow until she can't handle anymore." Doom grabbed a remote and hit the button which would initiate their reserve energy and the other Doombots were free to move again. A couple came towards Shalimar and Emma but Albion kept watch over them as commanded. He was severely weakened but he still had enough strength to knock their heads off.
"Silver are you alright?" Brian said while maneuvering out of a Doombot's energy blast.
