Riggs Vs Lee

Martin Riggs is transported after his Laos encounter, at the height of his training, in his physical peak, (But without Murtaugh) to Han's island in Enter the Dragon.

Now Riggs, being a pretty capable fighter and Martial artist makes good headway and short work of the piles of men he faces in the tournament.

But then he faces his ultimate challenge.

Lee (played by Bruce Lee) is rostered to fight Riggs next.

And so they will fight, H2H at Han's lair with all the mirrors and shit,
and firearms are banned, in accordance with island rules. 😛

Scenario A:
As specified, unarmed combat to the death.

Scenario B:
Riggs with a cop nightstick (a pair of Tonfa),
Lee with one (or two) sets of Nunchaku.

Who wins...?

Lee cuz i'm biased, AND I haven't seen riggs in action.

Great movie. Like Die Hard 1 and 2, its best watched around christmas.
Its sequels are pretty good too.

A) While Riggs is trying to throw out a sloppy back-kick, Lee side-steps in and plants a kick that both breaks his ribs and send him flying back 15 feet.

B) Riggs ends up with a nightstick up his ass and a smile on his face.

Indy versus McClane, that wasnt a spite thread, it is two guys with similar fighting styles, both lucky as hell, both tough as nails.

You pit Riggs against Lee's Enter the Dragon character, SPITE.

You clearly have no understanding of the word.

Still. Easier to try to derail genuine discussion with quick buzzwords that you half understand than contribute to a thread intelligently, though, isnt it...? 🙄

Riggs demonstrated enough ability with tonfas/nightsticks to be a reasonable contestant in a battle against Nunchuku..
So thats a reasonable thread scenario.

Given the amount of world class forces trained MA attackers throughout his movies that McClane has killed.
And that you say that Riggs can beat McClane,
You would have to rate Riggs, logically, due to McClanes repeatedly killing men of Rigg's ilk. Therefore the H2H is valid also.

Don't cry about it though.

Yes, Riggs isn't that good. Lee was pwning the best in the world.

Tell me, in this battle, Riggs versus Lee, whats around? Is it strictly h2h and weapons based? Is there an SUV around? Is Lee fleeing in a jetliner that is leaking jet fuel?

Bottom line: Riggs is a better h2h combatant than McClane.

McClane is more inventive finding ways to kill someone.

Well if thats your opinion...it can be just that.

Riggs used things to kill people too....does that detract from his ability..? Whether it be shipping containers, Surfboards, or a partner with a gun like Riggs, his methods of ending fights are not the only point.

Besides. Ninja Chick was 'pwned' at h2h.

McClane knocked her ass out and went about his day.

When she woke up, she got up while he was preoccupied with trying to stop all that computer shit and like a dirty so and so, kicked him through the window.

She used the window move dude.
So McClane just upped the ante and won.

He beat her already. I provided proof that he knocked her out and won.

When challenged to provide a screengrab or some sort of proof that she had somehow knocked him unconcious..therefore winning.....strangely you never did/could.

Yet you repeat this falsehood of her beating him H2H again and again.

Im not sure if its other people you hope to fool, or yourself... but whatever: fact is you're wrong.
