novels are not canon dood

This one is cannon. The author was directly hired by marvel to do an in-depth book detailing the true and entire story of Wolverine and the weapon x project. Marvel even marketed as "Wolverine and true origins of the weapon x project"
The author was given loads of comics as well as behind the scenes information and so forth that the public had not seen. All it really is ,is the graphic noval of the Weapon x projec, but vastly more indepth.

doesn't matter...who else would hire the author, DC? of course its marvel

anyways, thats the rules...novels are not canon, doesn't matter how accurate they are...they are a different source. just like if marvel makes a cartoon or movie, no matter how accurate, they're not canon.

I not wrong, at all. Hand books constantly make mistakes and are quite frankly the most inaccurate source of information. I would not even consider them secondary sources.

This passage of the book describes how Wolverine's spirit is that of a riencarnated warrior who's lived multiple lives, it references his existence as the Hand of God when he stopped the Mesopotamian Demon god Ba'al, as well as the multiple wars he's been a part of as Logan:

lol why do you have that scanned?

anyways, that doesnt contradict the handbook

logan has some relation to the hero who originally beat Baal and he was temporarily became hand of god...nowhere does it say he is permanently hand of god

actually a lot of the time they are privately written and not endorsed by marvel.

There is no such rule against books not being cannon, you just pulled that out of your ass. As long as Marvel endorses it as the actually story then it is in fact cannon. marvel them self sold it as the true story of wolverine and the weapon x project. This is the only book from marvel that has been endorsed in such away as to be sold as the full story of the weapon x project. Hell it was thrown into my sub, because in my comic shop it was consider to be part of wolverine title. The author was given information that has never be revealed to the public as well and stated so within an interview.

You may have a good point here. So, Azrael "blocking" Wolverine from reincarnating sounds like a good explanation?
