George Lucas laughs at your critcisms
No one who sits down and watches the Original Trilogy and then watches the Prequel Trilogy can't assume he isn't laughing all the way to the bank.
I just feel bad for all those collectors who are out there buying up every colour of Clone Trooper that are made. Can anyone explain to me why there's even a single need for the Clones to be 15 different colours? Mr. Lucas turned the clones into a commodity and only one side had them? Clone Wars?... Both sides should have had clone troopers. Wouldn't this have servedas a justifiable marketing method for Clones? The whole droid wars aspect was silly: thus rendering Dooku, Grievious, Ventress Episode II and III totally moot. (Not that Episode I wasn't a total excercise in absurdity.)
Hasn't been mentioned, but I take this as the Han and Greedo scene in ANH.
Anyway, I found this...

The Confederacy put all their faith in the manufacturing guilds that joined them, that they could win on sheer numbers of disposable battle droids. The Republic was too far ahead in the game for the Confederacy to get a sizable clone force made(which would take a minimum of ten years.) Unless they invaded Kamino and took over - but they couldn't reverse the programming put into these troopers, who had been raised for the Republic alone.
Dooku was in on the gambit the whole time of course, that the whole reason for the war was for Sidious to get total control of the Republic and Senate, so he wasn't a moot figure.
Don't blame George Lucas for making so many commodities out of Star Wars. He's just serving the voracious appetite of the fan base. They can look in the mirror to see who's fault it is.
