I was under the impression that they happen one year into the future, and only the last scene, with Namor and Doom, were part of Doom's daydream. But yeah, I know they aren't canon to the 616 universe because of that clause. Nonetheless, it does hint at how powerful Doom's sorcery is. And beating Morgana on her own surf only solidifies that.
