How Many Majestics?

Would it take to take down Magneto and Cassandra Nova?

Mags and Cassie start beside each other, with Magneto's shield up. They know Majestic's coming.

Majestic doesn't get his sword- is it even standard equip?

For a bonus round, add Sersi to the Marvel team.

How would Majestic compensate for phasing? Couldn't Cassanda just go intangible and mind rape the crap out of any number of Majestics?

Not on Cassie's level.

Majestros has impressive endurance though. I suppose enough of them would provide enough resistance to Nova.

Majestic is almost telepath-proof. It was stated in Moore's run of the WildCATS, back when he was an Image character. And I have it, but I can't find it right now. More recently, he's fought off an entire legion of Daemonites attempting to possess him, and credited his mental discipline and warrior's training as well as his superior will. And I do have that scan if anyone's interested.

But basically I don't think there's any proof that Majestic can be successfully telepathically assaulted.

And no more than five or so blows from Maj should drop Magnus' shields. Not that he needs to breach them physically, as much like Supes he can combine different spectra-types of his vision to bypass various forms of immediate substance to get to the substances underneath or behind, as well as already having on panel evidence proving that his laser vision can alter substances at the 'sub-atomic' level, which would be the electrons that Magneto makes his shielding out of...

So, 1 Majestic is sufficient. 2 is overkill.

There IS the point about intangibility to consider.

Also, Majestic hasn't run into anything of Cassandra Nova's caliber, so it would really depend on the wording of the telepath-proof bit. He has been affected by Daemonites, but managed to resist after almost being pulled in iirc... and they don't really hold a candle to Cassie.

Just food for thought.

Yeah. I know possession =/= TP, but it was the only recent example I could draw from.

Blah.

2 Majestics do the job.

He takes down Magneto's field by changing its molecular structure and one shots him.

Majestros 2 stomps Nova easily.

Sersi creates enough solid illusions to keep them occupied but she succumbs very quickly.

Her fight with Makkari shows she can't handle speed.

Majestic is a super genius. It would take 2 at the most. His resistance to Tp is also good.

Good enough to fight off one of the best telepaths in Marvel?

Good enough to at least resist her for a while

2, maybe 3

Yeah, 2-3 is enough.

Cassandra Nova almost took over Xavier's mind while he was in CEREBRA. That's Xavier times 10. She went through Shi'ar telepathic shields easily.

IMO the problem for Majestic is he doesnt have on much/if any on panel feats vs a TP or someone that phases. In theory hes a prep master and have already of thought of that stuff and could counter them. Hes also a Kherubim Lord that should have TP resistance

But what good is telepathic resistance?

Cassandra Nova will go STRAIGHT THROUGH IT.

I just used that word, maybe its incorrect and maybe they are immune to TP.

That's what Gladiator and the other Imperial Guardians claimed to be.

How'd that work out for them? I seem to recall a certain someone wetting their romper suit.
