Nice.

So a bit of Casting news we now have TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust & Baccarin as Copycat

Do you think it will confuse the audience having 2 blue shapeshifting females?

I'm surprised neither Carano nor Baccarin is playing Domino.

Yeah still no Cable either.

Costume looking good.

Eeeeeeee!

And Tj miller is playing weasel. The jokes between Reynolds deadpool and TJ miller? In an R rated film?! Im hyped.

Warning. Rant ahead.

Normally I'm all for movies doing their best to adopt comic book characters... but this is the rare case where I hope the movie changes the comicbook character completely. Yes, you heard me. Reynolds said that in the movie Deadpool has questionable morals and doesn't care whether people like him or not. That sounds a lot like old school Deadpool. Much better than the needy pathetic clown who wants everybody's approval. And as much as I love Deadpool.. that's exactly what he's been for the past several years - a slightly more violent cheap Spider-man wannabe but with fart jokes. A parody of himself. Even though they've redeemed him a little bit in the current run I still miss the badass somewhat dark and funny unstable merc who didn't take shit from anybody and I haven't seen him in a long time.

Suicide Kings did DP justice, imho.

And yeah, the pathetic clown Spider-Man-esque DP version sucks balls. Everything SM-related sucks. Glad you're finally getting it.

Well then you don't want him changed for the big screen you want them to portray classic Wade. I have a feeling that's what Reynolds is going for. I like the old deadpool where his quirkiness and randomness was just right on the edge of an equal level of madness and violence. Between the costume reveal and the april fools vid, I'm getting that old wade feel. That's what has been missing from him. Instead of these guys writing a character who so desperately wants to be funny and liked they should have him do and say what he wants regardless of what anyone thinks.

I prefer a mixture of the comedy & being badass from the character but yeah alot of the writers like to concentrate on the comedy more these days.

Pretty much, it's just " I want classic Wade" sounds a lot less scandalous than " I want movies to change comicbooks" and I wanted to get attention.
