Cold Terror

A group of volunteers signed up for a program that would be testing the long term effects of Cryogenic Freezing. The test subjects would be subjected to one year of suspended animation and upon revival, they would be awarded fifty-thousand dollars for participating. Unfortunately for the test subjects, they awoke to a dark world where the dead roamed the streets, and powerful tyrants controlled the safe havens. Those who do not serve the Tyrants are cast out to the fate that awaited them on the outside, be it starving to death or being eaten by the living dead. After a raid for supplies goes bad, the volunteers are revived when the power is restored to the Cryogenics lab.

Ok, thought of a reason Hayato doesn't talk much. He's japanese, so he doesn't speak much english. He does understand it, though, so he knows what everyone is saying.

good theory ive been to japan before tokyo to be exact they spoke pretty good english but i bet some remote parts they don't speak english. so depends where in japan he's from.

He is from a remote island in North Japan. His parents were killed, so he was taken in by monks and taught the ways of the ninja. He didn't fit in to society, so he signed up for the Cryogenics Experiment.

Also he can understand english perfectly, but just doesn't speak it very well.
