Lily slowly walked up to the man and looked to the wound. not the gun shot. But another. He had been bitten?... so its contagious.... thats why you dont want anyone who is wounded in the city.. She simply looked at the wound and never touched it. she didnt know how far the contagion went. she then got out of her kneeling position and looked to the others. World really has gone to hell..
Ben stood in front of the group and addressed them quickly. "There's not a lot of time before nightfall, so everyone get inside, and go to the open quarters. You'll be given a key, so you will know where to go." Ben assembled the group behind him, all of them heavily armed, and lined up on the top of the walls. "I hope you newbies can sleep through gun fire.. cause it'll be going 'til dawn."
=Beeping came from a pod that was on its back in the truck, followed by a disgruntled voice.=
WHAT THE F***!?!
=The man inside began banging on the Tube door until it opened up. His bare foot came out and kicked the door open the rest of the way. Jason Freeman slowly sat up and put a hand to his head.=
Eeerrr!! What the hell?! Where are the Damn Scientists?!
=He looks around seeing Lily, the only one he actually knew since they used to work together now and then.=
Lily! What the hell?!
=He was about to push himself to his feet before realizing he was naked. he grumbled a bit before noticing an over turned box beside the tube with his name on it. He opened it up to find clothing and quickly put his pants on before standing. Jason was huge. Weight lifter huge. He grabbed a Tactical vest from the box and used it as a shirt. the last thing in it was a duffle bag which he slung over his shoulder before jumping out. He was about to say something else until he turned his head to the side and puked up the Cryo Slime.=
ehh... that... tastes like horse S***....
=He composed himself and eyed Lily then looked around to where he was.=
..what... the... HELL!?
Lily looked to Jason and Saluted. Sir! I will update you as soon as possible. But right now I advise we go inside like we have been told. She lowers her hand and smirks. Welcome to hell sir. She then turned and made her way to where man named Ben suggested. She took an available key then nodded to Jason. They were in the Army together so they knew how to Share a small space. Come on. We can share. No sense taking up all the rooms. We are new commers after all.
=Jason looked completly confused but decided to give her the benifit of the dout and followed. She was right, it wouldnt make sense to take two rooms when one would do for her and himself. He stepped in the room and threw down his bag before turning to her.=
Okay Lily... what the hell is going on? I demand an Update soldier.
=Jasons face was stern and focused. Ready to take what ever information she had to give.=
Ben looked over at Jason and laughed at what he said. "You no longer have authority over anyone. There is no more army, there no more Marines, the Navy ships have been AWOL for almost a year, and the Airforce never made it off the ground. If they aren't here, they are most likely dead. We take orders from Hoffman. Oh, and suit up. He wants to see you all in action before he gives out the free rooms. This isn't mandatory, but it's better to get it out of the way fast." With a nod, he looked over the group, and slapped a map down on the table. "This will let you see the whole layout of the base." He slowly walked out of the room as Jacob walked over to the map. He studied it for a moment, and then looked at the rest of the group. "Since there are so many of us... maybe we should divide up into two teams?"
=Jason eyed Ben and narrowed his eyes.=
Perhaps. But Lily and Myself are still Army. I was her superior then and I am her superior now. What I order of her is of our concern not of yours. Being as this is... shall we say "New terriorty" I will report to this... Hoffman character, But she is under my command. Got that?
=Jason stood to his full 6'4 height. which was just a little taller then Ben is. He snorted as he walked away. Jason turned to Jacob and looked at the map.=
Two teams for what exactly? I mean we are all "Technically" new here so wouldnt it be best to stay together?
Jacob shrugged and grabbed his sidearm. "All I know is that we have a job to do, and I don't want to be booted out of here because I didn't do it in enough time. I'm placing myself with Ben, because back in the day he was my spotter." Another tall, skinny man with a pair of goggles around his neck stepped inside. "To correct Ben, like always.. The army is very much alive, just corrupt. If they're not in charge, they want you dead. So you can see that we politely declined their offers." He started to turn around, but was pegged in the head by a ration can. "Oh that's it! I'm going to kick your ass, Ben!" A laugh came through the air as they attacked each other, not violently.
Lily arched a brow at the men as they spoke then she bit her bottom lip to keep in a laugh when the can hit the skinny one in the head. ... Well at least people are using their heads around her. But I agree with Jason. When we started this we were put in together. And if the Army now is corrupt then so be it. Freeman and I shall just not state we are army. But as I swore when this all started im following his orders. She crossed her arms matter of fact-like, with her leg jutted out to the side and leaning the other way.... Many know this is the 'Dont bother to argue you will lose' Pose. (( XD ))
=Jason let out a chuckle.=
If it was my own men i would know who to pair with who. But i dont know any of you or what you are capable of. So there is a high chance that the teams I pick are going to be off balanced. However I can say from what I have heard so far the teams would be at least Me and Lily and you and Ben. Seeing as how you two used to work together the same as Lily and I.
=Jason stood up straight and crossed his arms.=
And from what I SEE, we have two other women, a man, and someone who thinks he is a ninja.... How the "Ninja" got into the cryo program is beyond me...
Tube opened and Danny climbed out of it he slumped to the floor the cold making him breathless he looked around at his strange surroundings and realised that he was no longer at the lab and wondered where the heck he was and his clothers as he realised that he was still naked, He then saw a box next to the tube and opened it and put on his clothers he also took out his barrett and other items that he found he then carried on having a look around at these new surroundings.
"How about this.. Ben, the Ninja, and I will form the first team. Anyone else who wants to be on our team, vocalize. Anyone that wants to be on Jason's team vocalize as well." Jacob turned to see a large man in all black armor standing with a megaphone. "A scavenging job has just opened. The first team to retrieve the correct amount of items get the money. Any teams that bring in the right items, but not the right amount will get less payment. This job requires medical supplies to be found. Twenty Medical kits, Fifty roles of Gauze, any and all medicines, pills, and injections that you can find will earn your team bonuses. Mobilize in five minutes."
