Rulk fought A-Bomb, and he couldn't hurt him. He was stomping on him with the force of a level 10 earthquake on the Richter scale, and A-Bomb was just fine. A-Bomb won their fight, then gave the reigns over to Savage Hulk.

Original Abomination started out twice as strong as Savage Hulk, but his strength didn't get higher. So overall, he never could really beat him.
