I think they would stop at three. They can take on Bonecrusher, but Starscream will be much harder. I mean, while Ratchet and Ironhide were escorting Sam with the cube, Starscream managed to take out both of them in a matter of seconds. His fly-bys would be enough to take out Optimus, since they already took out Ironhide.

I'm wondering if OP will do better in the sequel, there's a fight scene in
