Can't argue there even though he gave a decent performance in, From Dusk till Dawn but his lack of acting skills and ability to hypnotize an audience with his banter is why i suggested him 😉

Oh yeah, he was good in From Dusk 'till Dawn. He was awesome as the crazy rapist.

I just don't know. It's such a charming classic of my youth that I wasn't allowed to see or even watch the commercials. Darn you Mom and Dad! Unless there is a Grade A Director that has a clear passion for this film , and wants to do a wonderful Homaze , then I just would'nt even want it touched.

Fright Night Remake Scares Up a Director

Not sure if anyone has been keeping up with this at all, but they've managed to get a pretty solid cast together. And if anyone could live up to the old Peter Vincent it's gotta be David Tennant, though I'm not sure what to think about this new look... http://www.cinemablend.com/new/First-Look-At-David-Tennant-In-Fright-Night-Redo-20475.html
Obviously they're going for a different style here.

Oo I like that look a lot. A better look here:

Yeah someone that does magic......hmmm will wait and see.

Yeah I'm wary about the direction they're taking, but my overwhelming love for David Tennant makes me think it can't be too bad. Though I should also mention that Christopher Mintz-Plasse a.k.a. McLovin as Evil Ed just doesn't sound good at all to me.

^ THAT'S the new Peter Vincent? Are you f*cking kidding me ?!!?

That makes to want to vomit.

That just looks awful. It reminds me of a bad B horror movie that i would see on the bottom shelf at blockbuster and not even think twice about over looking

vomit

Apart from the dodgy art work, I'm still giving it hope, it's directed by the guy who made the wonderful Lars and the Real Girl.

Oh how could I forgot that "wonderful" movie...

It was an excellent film.

Obviously they're trying to modernize Peter Vincent's role, but other than that I really don't see the problem with it. 😬

Fright Night is without question my favourite horror/comedy movie, so I don't have high hopes for this. I am hoping it's good, though, and I still can't believe that's David Tennant in that poster...

Dr Who hey!

He's a good actor. If this turns out to be his Jack Sparrow then maybe.....maybe this could work.........................maybe.

He is supposed to look like a Chris Angel-esq douche bag, the cheesy art work is pretty obviously intentional...

Why would a magician want to fight a friggan vamp

the original made a bit more sense.

Peter Vincent didn't want to fight vampires in the original either. Charley went to him because he thought Peter had knowledge of vampires and the occult... a presumably narcissistic, ostentatious gothic magician fills the void of hapless mentor to the supernatural just as well (or better) than a late night movie host.
