He's a severe victim of power creep. In that he gets ludicrously powerful during the course of the story.

Honestly, I don't know much about either of'em. These 2 guys are really powerful and I thought it was time to start puttin' the insanely powerful characters against each other. Kinda sick of the DBZ VS Naruto VS Bleach threads.
