Wolverine vs the Prototype T-800 (Terminator: Salvation)

The good news is that Logan finally got his memories back, thanks to a Sioux Shaman, some loco weed and a tomahawk to the face.

The bad news is that through a twist of fate, Logan finds himself sucked through a timewarp, and into an alternative universe.

To be precise, Logan finds himself in the year 2018. Judgment Day has long passed and the remnants of humanity are in a war against Skynet and the machines.

Skynet has its eye on the mutant for a long time, mainly because of his adamantium-laced skeleton.

Stumbling onto a satellite field ran by Skynet, Logan saves the life of the sole survivor of the mission. The guy is freaked out by Logan's claws, but calms down once he sees that the dogs doesn't ID him as a Terminator.

The man introduces himself as John Connor, who explains to Logan all that has happened. He also tells him that there was a way he can get back to his original timeline, but only if Logan agrees to help John rescue survivors from a Skynet prison camp. Logan agrees.

The raid is successful. However, there was one thing that neither Connor nor Logan didn't take into account.

Skynet has already built a prototype Terminator - the T-800 (the Arnold model, complete with real skin). Worse yet, the prototype's exoskeleton is adamantium.

Connor manages to rescue Kyle Reese, but the Terminator is hot on his tail.

SKINT.

The Terminator turns around. Logan is there, claws unsheathed, ready to kick some ass.

The Terminator sizes his opponent up. TERMINATE LOGAN.

But dying is not on Logan's agenda today. The Terminator is the only thing standing in his way. Once the assassin is down for the count, Logan has a free ride home.

The noise is actually SNIKT, and I don't see why Logan can't cut through the servo motors and joints.

Admantium servo motors and joints...😐

Well, to be honest, making a full T-800 from adamantium is out of Skynet's league, since they don't have the formula. But, if they made the servo motors and and joints out of adamantium, the thing wouldn't be able to move. And Logan could also claw out it's optics.

I'm sure that Skynet is more than capable of creating an adamantium based machine that is fully mobile. However, i was under the assumption that Adamantium is capable of piercing Adamantium...,am i wrong?

In the movies, yes.

But....Wolvie would have to, rather quickly, thrust his claw. hehe

Well, i'm sure that Wolverine will destroy the Terminator with great ease then.

getting a bit off topic though, can't Adamantium pierce adamantium (in the comics) ? I remember Wolverine cutting through Omega Reds arms as well as Silver Samurais' Sword. I know Omega Reds arms are carbonium but it's still of form of Adamantium, just made to be more flexible..,right?

Nope, Carbonadium is Mother Russia's 2nd grade attempt to copy adamantium, it's invulnerable to just about everything but Adamantium, Vibranium, Uru, and Adamantine(greek god metal). It's more flexible, but it can't stand up. And Samurai's sword isn't special at all, it's a normal blade, it's the tachyon field he produces that allows him to slice through almost anything.

ooooh, ok. Thanks for that. I thought Samurais' sword was Adamantium for sure, i guess it's because how easily he cuts through everything. What ever happened to him? i haven't seen or heard from him in a while . And, carbonium...,it really doesn't come from Adamantium? Hmm, don't know why i thought that then. Thanks.

HIs sword is normal, his tachyon field(makes his sword glow with energy) is his saving grace.

And while Carbonadium is considered a form of adamantium, it's really not of a high enough standard to be thought of as such. It's like saying a kitten is a form of feline, while you've got tigers and lions running around. It's just not up to snuff. Unless you use it to slow a healing factor, or give it to Red.

And the last time they showed Samurai, Logan cut his hand off, and left him there.

Yes. It only works that way in the movies.

Wolverine's never cut through either of these things. 😕

Yes he has. I cant be bothered to go through all of my comics just to find the issues but i can remember the fight vividly. Samurai was throwing a crap load of knives at Wolverine and Wolverine cut through a bunch of the knives as he lunged towards Samurai. as he landed, he knocked Samurai down and was standing on his sword, as Samurai tried to get up, Wolverine slashed a deep cut into Samurais armor and cut his sword in half. I remember it so well because i always thought his armor and sword was made out of adamantium and i was like "wow, never knew he could cut through adamantium".

T-800 was beast in the movie. And Logan still can't fight. But he can heal. T-800 has the strength and speed advantage.

This is a toss up for me.

The speed advantage is Wolverine's, Id say.

Strength though, no question, goes to the T-800. ✅

The T-800 is one badass robot. He would actually be tough for Logan to beat. That robot took a grenade to the face a couple times and had lava poured on him and he still was up and ready to terminate.

It's not really Wolverine v the T-800 then is it? It's Wolverine against something you've just made up.

yeah, but we should also remember that a make shift pipe bomb, made from random home chemicals was enough to blow a t-800 in half 😂

T-800 catches Logan by the hands and plays the "quit stabbing yourself, quit stabbing yourself" game.
