Wolverine vs the Prototype T-800 (Terminator: Salvation)
The good news is that Logan finally got his memories back, thanks to a Sioux Shaman, some loco weed and a tomahawk to the face.
The bad news is that through a twist of fate, Logan finds himself sucked through a timewarp, and into an alternative universe.
To be precise, Logan finds himself in the year 2018. Judgment Day has long passed and the remnants of humanity are in a war against Skynet and the machines.
Skynet has its eye on the mutant for a long time, mainly because of his adamantium-laced skeleton.
Stumbling onto a satellite field ran by Skynet, Logan saves the life of the sole survivor of the mission. The guy is freaked out by Logan's claws, but calms down once he sees that the dogs doesn't ID him as a Terminator.
The man introduces himself as John Connor, who explains to Logan all that has happened. He also tells him that there was a way he can get back to his original timeline, but only if Logan agrees to help John rescue survivors from a Skynet prison camp. Logan agrees.
The raid is successful. However, there was one thing that neither Connor nor Logan didn't take into account.
Skynet has already built a prototype Terminator - the T-800 (the Arnold model, complete with real skin). Worse yet, the prototype's exoskeleton is adamantium.
Connor manages to rescue Kyle Reese, but the Terminator is hot on his tail.
SKINT.
The Terminator turns around. Logan is there, claws unsheathed, ready to kick some ass.
The Terminator sizes his opponent up. TERMINATE LOGAN.
But dying is not on Logan's agenda today. The Terminator is the only thing standing in his way. Once the assassin is down for the count, Logan has a free ride home.
