Kratos (God of War series) Versus Nightmare (Soul [Edge/Calibur] series)

Okay, so during the miniature Gauntlet I tried to spam the other day, there was some disagreement between these two, so now we're going to let them duke it out one on one. As before, Kratos is restricted to one weapon, one magic spell, and one relic only, those being the Blades of Athena, Poseidon's Rage, and Icarus Wings. Nightmare has Soul Edge, as is canon for the character (I believe).

The battle is atop a ten mile high spire, with a round, flat ring fifty feet in diameter, with fencing surrounding half of the ring.

They start off twenty-five feet away from each other, and each of them have a general knowledge of their opponent.

Let the battle begin.

hmmmmm somebody wins by ring out

Kratos kicks Nightmare off of the Spire.

Nightmare claps and Kratos explodes.

I was more or less highlighting the dynamics of blowing up a castle by clashing swords. That's like clapping and knocking your own house down. Kratos has never, to my knowledge, been hit that hard. |:

Kratos is absolutely the better character, but I still think he loses.

I'm going by what you said in a thread featuring Nightmare, actually =P I think it was vs MC.

He can hit hard enough to kill MC, and can do so to Kratos.

However, he will never hit either. Not fast enough.

Also, it was done with some help, but meh.

Kratos yells "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"

And kicks him off the tower.

cant hit kratos? when has kratos shown this speed to match the reflexes of chief?

When did I say he has first of all?

you said that nightmare couldnt hit chief or kratos because nightmare isnt fast enough. i assumed that you but kratos and chief on the same level reflex-wise

That just means NM is below both.

But Kratos has blocked lightning.
