I've seen only bits and pieces of the movies but I"m glad this is happening but I do feel like I need to revisit the past a little. Wouldn't things have been better if the good halves of seasons 9 and 10 of the simpsons were combined into one good final season and then the creators put that show out of its misery and concentrated on Futurama full time from preproduction and into 5-6 good seasons? It always pissed me off that Futurama got a bad rap and completely sabotaged by Fox while the Simpsons limped into mediocrity and embarrassment, becoming the Strom Thurmond of animated television.
