Old characters you think could be cool if modernized.

Recently, I've been reading a lot of Silver Age Superman, mostly Action Comics, and there have been some characters in there that I think could be quite easily brought into the modern comics world.

With the return of a lot of Silver Age ideas and attitudes, who do you want to see return?

My first pick is a fellow named Karb-Brak. The following pages explain him far better than I can.

So, this guy is almost as powerful as Superman, but when they fight, his energy draining sickness brings them level in a short period of time. This guy really goes mad and starts dying quick whenever Superman is around, but the closer he gets to death the more the stronger he gets.

So this guy has to get rid of Superman, but he himself is an innocent, that needs Earth to survive. I think a pretty good story could grow from this.

I think that if Robocop was modernized, then it could be pretty cool. All they'd have to do is make him sleeker and less clunky.

The Stranger.

What about The Riddler? I love the style, but he needs a new look.

It is called, Project: Superpowers. 😉

He would be like Logan without the claws then...

Ultimate Mysterio who appeared in the Ultimate Spider-man Annual looked OK. He was like a gangster Mysterio. Plus, Lafeunte's art in that comic was beautiful.

It's too bad most of the ultimate universe is being killed off

Other interesting Pre-Crisis characters were Zha-Vam and Vartox.

They brought back the Galactic Golem recently, so why not?
