A. That is the definition of a metaphor, but your usage of it was faulty.
B. Contrary to popular belief, lasers do not go at the speed of light, true lightspeed can only be achieved in a vacuum, any laser that was fired at Afro was not in a vacuum, though I cannot remember him dodging a laser(dodging the laser itself, not aim-dodging).
