Aren't you the guy acting like Superman touched him when he was little ?

Oh yeah..

I will co-sign to that and, not just because of my personal feeling for the character, thou that is LARGELY a part of it. Also because when he died i actually wanted to respect and appreciate him. Of course I knew it would never last, no way in hell but, a little part of me inside never gave up hope. You see, with his death he started to seem a little less perfect. Which is the main reason I hate him to begin with. He is just way to perfect, he never loses, he has basically every power you could ask for, the world loves him, he always saves the day and gets the girl. His death at the hands of a mega monster to protect others really impressed me but, with him coming back it just lost all its impact with me. Especially the way they did it, without any logical reason. Thing like that are the reason I hate Superman, he has everything handed to him and sits up on this moral high horse like everyone is below him, then he is always acting like he doesn't feel that way. He NEVER has to work for anything and, to me without it being earned or him having suffered loss he just won't be worthy of being a hero. At least not to the degree of any of the others. His death, if it had been more perminit, would have been something truly worthy of heroic!

Sorry everyone for the bad grammar and spelling, Math and science were my tallents!

You know actually I agree with this and not just cause I hate Clark.

Seriously if either Superman or Batman ever died, which we all know will never REALLY happen, DC would suffer a huge hit and Marvel would skyrocket. IMO

THANK YOU!

Being a hero is about sacrifice and risk. Two things Clark knows absolutely nothing about.

But anyway this isn't the place for that discussion. And I'm trying very hard to quit cluttering up good threads with my anti superman rants.
As valid as I may feel they are regardless.

Superman is an arrogant self righteous prick that thinks his way is the only way and that's all there is to his. His opinion is right and that's the end of it.

that's why when he deems it necessary to kill someone its ok but with everyone else its wrong regardless of the circumstances!

Everyone remember Dark Knight Returns when he said Bat's couldn't be allowed to kill Joker, regardless of the countless people that had died and would continue to die do to his being allowed to live?

But let someone with more power than Supes come on to the scene and Clark will deem when its ok pretty quick unless they agree with almost exactly his view point on the use of their power.

He wasn't talking about killing him, "YET" but look how quick he got on Kyle's case when he gained the classic Ion power!
And Kyle had done nothing but help and good with his new abilities!

etc..

Whats wrong with the current series?

as for the topic, Dr. Strange and Thing needs a relaunch

SS..

Captain Britain and the MI:13 should be given another chance.

I remember reading re-prints of gambit stories in Wolverine and Gambit and there were always quite a few people complaining about how boring gambit's stories were 😂

I've got Issue 1 of that Gambit series it seemed to be okay i suppose with the later issues it got boring or something like that.

Wow, the man with Kyle's penis in his hand is complaining that Superman has all the powers he wants.

Irony.

magneto

Juggernaut

Death's Head II. His book was one of the gems of the largely testosterone-riddled early 90's. He's still alive, and the last story he was in ended abruptly after showing a lot of promise.

There was a '95 team-up with the Punisher planned for him. No clue why it never came to fruition.

You care to actually back up those statements with some actual evidence to prove I'm wrong or at least attempt to contradict my post?

Or you jus laugh and make jokes stating how wrong I am while not actually providing any legitimate backing for it? 😕

I mean you are a superman fan! Isn't that what most of them do?
Something along the lines of Superman's the best because they say so. Period end of discussion. It matters not that his character is 1 dimensional and doesn't even have the depth of the paper he's drawn on. To the point he's able to be on national news networks as Clark Kent while standing next to a picture of superman and people of the DCU don't even recognize a resemblance and that doesn't even need explaining to the common reader.

That somewhere in the ballpark?

Hell hath no fury like a superman-hater scorned.

Superman is only as great as the writer who is currently working on him. Superman being perfect and unbeatable is a notion only an idiot who's spent his entire life reading street-level comics would entertain for more than 10 minutes. He is as far from being number 1 in DC as he is from being perfect.

Not get your poorly guided asses back on topic people.

Namor, Nick Fury, Robocop, or anything with Iceman in it.😄

not at all, but the narrow minded view you seem to be bringing to the table begs the question: Is it worth the time and effort trying to show you the truth?

Gambit.

Yeah, I said it.

Thanos.

His series had promise, imo his second run was more intresting than the first.
