John Preston vs Morpheus

Since I believe the general consensus was that Neo might have been too much for the Cleric we'll put him against Neo's mentor. Morpheus retains all of his powers and abilities as does Preston.

Scenario I: H2H
Setting: Dojo (The Matrix)

Scenario II: Swordfight - Each combatant is given a katana.
Setting: Dojo (The Matrix)

Scenario III: Shootout - Preston gets his duel pistols. Morpheus duel Glock 18's. No reloads.
Setting: Lobby (The Matrix)

Who takes each scenario and why?

1) Morpheus, despite his lack luster onscreen martial skills, he's far more durable, he'll outlast Preston.

2) Preston, as he already cut off one negro's face, this is nothing but old-hat to him.

3) Morpheus (probably), since dodging bullets with speed is probably a notch above just avoiding them.

Not really, Fishbourne is an out of shape guy; it showed in the choreography.

Showed in the choreography of his fight with Agent Johnson aboard the truck in Reloaded. I thought the Dojo scene in The Matrix was quite impressive.

It was slow and robotic, imo.

dude, i think that was the style they were going for 😉 You know, extenuating the most beautiful aspect of the martial art.
