We had something similar, a hunting guide club, they taught us survival skills, gun safety, how to skin/gut deer, sht like that.

Nice. Thats all stuff i learned (along with fishing, cars, motorcycles...) after i'd joined the Army, from guys i wound up serving with. Only thing applicable i learned as a kid was archery, which surprised a lot of my friends.
