Explain to me why I'm supposed to be impressed that Superman survived being hit by a rubber chicken? Did Joker try and fail to kill Superman? No, it was made abundantly clear that he could end Superman or anyone on a whim.

Because in the very next page Joker destroys Earth by a flick of his finger. That's why that feat is so crazy, tanking a shot from a pissed off universal+ level power.

Also here is superman tanking multiple shots from Dominus.

Not impressed, Emperor Joker did not want to kill Superman but break him mentally IIRC. If he wanted to, he could accomplish it with a fart. At one point in the story I remember him kicking Harley in the butt, that didn't impress me either. I'm honestly surprised you aren't arguing how uber strong Superman is since he's choking Joker, obviously indicating that his strength is superior to Mxy's power.

The Dominus showing is much more impressive imo although Superman beggining like that comes off as a bit *****-made. Still wasn't really trying to end Superman either.

We can play this game all day long. joker was pissed and struck superman hard. What's hard to understand here? Joker was perfectly willing to kill superman since you know he flew through Joker's head. Joker wasn't applying his power when he kicked Harley, obviously.

They do. Superman oneshots 5-D imps, tears soulfire darkseid's body apart, survives two planets colliding, tanks planets dwarfing Jupiter blowing up while weakened by red sun and kryptonite, tanks planetary weight while being nearly powerless etc. Thor has no feats like that under his name.

I'm not denying that it packed a punch, he struck Superman out of orbit. I just see no reason why it should be any more impressive then Etrigan punching Superman to the moon or something. Joker specifically wanted to mentally torture him and Batman.

Been a while since I've read the arc but I remember him having a lot of fun with torturing Superman but not as extreme as he was with Batman.

Like you said, he ripped out Superman's heart. Mxy made it clear that Superman could be erased with a thought. Which is why I keep saying that the feat does not impress me. If Joker tried to actually hurt Superman only to fail, then yes, it would be a CRAZY feat but we know that if he tried, he could and did accomplish it effortlessly.
