Neat. I might have to buy it.How is it on Length and Replay value? I need games to keep me entertained until September.
Mach 17's a pretty high speed for something that we really don't Samus portray in the games, so I'd love to see some hard evidence.
Even if the above figure can be proven canon, I can't see it being Samus's regular operating speed, but one attained with the Speed Booster. That being the case, she wouldn't get access to it for Battle 1.

Samus has also survived a black hole to my recollection, the only one here who might be able to match that power is Megaman X.
It's ironic. He says about Sephiroth what we tell him about Kain.
Edit; The manga is not officially canon, it is /considered/ canon by most people who read it, but it has never been said to be canon, it's simply licensed by Nintendo. Nintendo licenses a lot of non-canon stuff. The Zelda manga is licensed, but non-canon.
@ScreamPaste : Cloud survived after took Bahamut's fireball blast while much smaller fireball destroyed the monument and the surrounding area. Cloud can even cut a building, survived after pierced on his chest by Sephiroth in Nibelheim, and his omni slash makes him intangible. You call him weak? Or maybe Link, X and Samus had done much better? I don't know about Link's and Samus's powers so explain it to me about them.

Both Mega Man and X can react to lasers and do so routinely. It comes along with the robot/android reflexes. Both of them have also survived tactical Black Holes (as opposed to the wormhole variety popular in scifi) and X has used his power to tank nuclear warheads and, of course, he has the afore mentioned feat of absorbing a planet-busting force.
In retrospect, I still regret putting X in here instead of Mega Man. He overpowers team 2 too much, but I wanted to balance out Cloud's RPG gameplay, and Rock has never been in an RPG.

I'm really glad this manga isn't canon, according to the manga by 14 Samus was still dumb as a post in the middle of a driveway. =[
A couple decent agility and shooting feats so far.
