Did you use the quick-search down at the bottom of the forum? That one only seeks recent history. You need to use the upper one. I found both of those through search engine.

Well how are you using it

because when i did it i had it on

-Search titles only
-Show results as threads

and it appears for me.

i typed scorpion vs sub-zero then pressed search

To be fair I used the search many times exactly right and it doesn't always work for me, maybe its the same with him.

I use both all the time. Follow the guidelines etc.

I effortlessly found it on my first attempt. Did you use advanced options?

Not for this particular title but others.

Believe me I used it right but doesn't always work, oh well.

Proper spelling is a requirement. My searches never really fail. Not once since I learnt to use it (Which wasn't hard)

I actually copied and pasted a title on the front page once to make sure it was working, still nothing, just breaks down occasionally I guess.

And you were searching for title and not content?

I tried everything. Everything. I'm not that stupid I know how to use it lol.

My searches has yet to fail, so someone is doing something different.
