Renesmee's smile increased as she saw not from them the thick black smoke gathering in the sky " well I guess that must be it then "she said pointing in the diection from where the smoke was coming from.
Bella stopped for a moment and sensed a presence watching them... yet it didn't seem hostile to them but more out of interest her eyes shifted towards a near rock not far from where they were standing " Alright come out... I know your there " she called out to the one who was watching them.

Lexis shifted away from the tree, walking toward the small group before relaxing her features and nodding slightly to the group in total, "Sorry for the intrusion, I am Lexis." Her pace felt like a snail's speed in comparison to her usual and she stopped herself from grinding her teeth, the sooner she got on good terms and stopped the charade the better.
Bella eyes stared curiously at Lexis she could tell she was new to these parts for she and hoped she wasn't one of those Vampires who had attacked the students earlier today, She thought for a moment before she responded to Lexis sudden entry and all she could think to say was " How long have you been following us... and why were you hiding back there ? " she questioningly replied to Lexis.
Lexis tilted her head to the side and smiled very slightly, "Only a few hours, I heard commotion in the town and I couldn't help but be curious... then I came across you all and didn't want to be intrusive... trust my word however, I mean none of you harm."

Bella listened intensively and believed Lexis to be genuine at least for now " It's alright.. you have to forgive us for being cautious..I guess we can't be to careful in who to trust.. and who not to trust..If wish to be of assistance to us then you free to do so.." she smiled a little at Lexis and then looked at the others " I think It's best that we go see Carlisle maybe he knows something about this.." she said biting down on her lip clearly in deep thought now as she hoped that Renesmee and the rest had got to Angel's parents safely.

Lexis nodded once in a swift movement, "That was my intention." She replied, referring to the assistance they would require. She kept her distance however as the group started to move back to what she could only assume was their coven home, it was odd however but these vampires did not smell like the others, theirs was a more untouched smell, sweeter than others and it seemed that they did not choose to dine as the rest of their kin chose to.
~This may be a promising alliance~ She thought to herself as they all moved.

Rosalie was holding Emmett's hand as they began making their way to the cullen house, She continued to stare at Lexis and didn't entirley buy Lexis story as far as she was concerned trust was earned and not just freely given and this new one was no different.. however she was curious to her intentions and decided to play along for the time being " So..Lexis is it ?.. How long have you been in forks..I don't recall seeing you here before now " she asked with a glare in her eyes.
Lexis looked over to the blonde one who addressed her, waiting until the small string of questions had ended before speaking.
"I arrived here two weeks ago, I'd heard of this towns run ins with the mysterious and being the curious woman that I am, I decided to check for myself. I'm glad to see that the rumours where correct this time around."
A slight pause before she continued.
"I doubt however that anyone bar a few exceptions would have seen me, before now I'd chosen to travel in the cover of darkness and have as little contact with anyone as possible."
The questions would not end it seemed, but to the credit of these vampires, they where not afraid to ask them as this was their 'territory' and Lexis, a visitor.

Lexis made no other geasture before speaking in reply, "No, I have never belonged to a coven. I have been offered but it never appealed to me to join a den of killers..."
Her voice trailed off as she finished, her mind trailing back to the faces of those few leaders that had seen more than potential in her. It was mere luck that she'd lived all these years and to her own way.
Leinhart analyzed the town, and the number of local authorities that occupied the community. He stuck to the shadows and fed off of the helpless humans for extra strength, he didn't know if he'd need it or not but he was always one to be prepared. His blade was drenched in the blood of his numerous villains, however he wasn't a savage, so he didn't bite them. This kept him from leaving an obvious trace that it was done by a vampire. Soon the news would be reporting mysterious deaths that are happening sporadically across the town.

Bella nodded still picking leaves off certain branches " I suppose you get use to ones own company..But it can have it's benefits..and also can be lonely at times..I'm lucky enough to belong to a nice loving family " she said smiling at Edward,Rosalie and Emmett gestering in their direction that was applied to them.

A snapped twig of a branch broke the silence from where Renesmee and the others was, Kate a beautiful blonde Denali Vampire stepped out from a near by tree and showed herself with a kind smile on her face.
Renesmee turned her attention form the smoke to the snap of the twig that did break the silence she glanced around and then stared at the familiar smiling face she hadn't seen her in a while " Kate.. I can't believe it.. It's been too long " she said and walked over to her and gave her a hug.
Kate smiled has she warmly embraced the hug and then pulled away and admired Renesmee " Yes..It has been too long 2 she laughed with her blind hair shining in the moonlight " well enough about that let me have a good look at you, My how much you have grown ..and even more beautiful has I knew you would be " she remarked admiring Rensmee's pretty features.

Lexis nodded slightly and chose not to reply. A family. She'd been an immortal so long that she'd forgotten what such an institution was like, the feeling of a mother's love, the stern discipline of a father... it was all gone. Her eyes wandered as they continued on through the forest, finally resting on a lake, large in size and then beyond that a two storey home. Her pace slowed as her eyes took in what she could see of the house, assuming that it was their destination.
Lexis followed behind the small group toward the house, noting most of the details and also the trails and scents around the house for future reference. One could never be too careful.
"Beautifull spot," She murmured glancing back at the lake then to the house, it was surrounded by trees and she could only imagine the view during daylight.
