What are your goals the future?

Inspired by the, "Do you feel you are a part of a community" thread I would like to know what the members of the General Discussion section are working on accomplishing or what is going on in their lives or in the future.

Could be anything, where you wanna work, where you're going to school, whatever you want to accomplish.

Me:
Visit 10 different countries by 25
Get my undergraduate degree in the next 2 years
Get a J.D. and also learn Chinese or Arabic by the time I am 25
Join J.A.G for 3 years or go live overseas someplace practicing law
Join a Federal Law Enforcement Agency such as the FBI by 30

Join the military, it can help you accomplish much of what you want and looks exceedingly well on your application for the FBI.

1. Finish up my Undergrad degree (I've got two years left too).
2. Enter law school
???. Sell my body, so as to easily afford to go to Law School (Optional)
3. Become a divorce lawyer and make lots of money ****ing over people's lives.

OR

1. Join the military and try to enter a medical field
2. use vet benefits to fund my way/shortcut my way through as much college as possible; get a premed undergrad degree.
???. Sell my body, so as to easily afford to go to Med School (Optional)
3. go to medical school
4. eventually become a pediatrician

OR/ALSO

1. marry a rich guy.

Take over my father's businesses
Buy more stocks
Affiliations with major international companies
Have my own Maybach/Rolls-Royce/Bugatti
Have a family (optional) ~ I prefer living a single life and having safe sex with random women. As for my children, I'll just adopt.

Coming into this thread, my first thought was: pay back by law school loans. Funny, great minds think alike. After that? Buy a parking lot and not work again.

Only problem with that plan is that if your undergraduate degree and training in law is in the US then most countries operate vastly different legal systems meaning you'd have to go do another legal qualification in the country you moved to.

This is even to the extreme that If I qualified in law in Scotland, I'd still have to qualify in law in England because it operates a very different legal system even though both countries are part of the United Kingdom/Great Britain.

Yeah, it's a stretch to actually go live overseas and practice law. I mostly just want to live in another country haha I figure I will most likely end up being a bartender or something for a few years before I return to the US 😛

Find a company that will help pay it off for you. One of my professors is a Lawyer and was a NY state police detective for like 20 years. He said the NY state police paid for literally half his tuition.

1. Being with a woman that suits me.
2. Getting a career i'd love.
3. Getting in shape.

not much else...

Some short term, five yearish goals

1. Lose some (a lot of) weight
2. Write a novel (not necessarily publish it, just finish it and enjoy the work)
3. Finish at least an undergrad degree
4. Move somewhere and get a job there.

1) Undergrad Degree
2) Finish Novel
3) Graduate Degree
4) Get a job and publish the novel to pay off college loans

Lose weight and get in at least somewhat decent shape.

Retire by the time I'm 50 (in 4 years), sell my house, buy and live in a fifth wheel and just travel around and live in different areas of the country.

I have none.

Smart, no chance of disappointment.

Its not really because of that but that is a point.

1. Get in shape
2. Earn my Bachelor's in computer networking and specialize in network security
3. Move down south

That sounds appealing, get around, see places and chill

Mine are almost identical to this.

Bardock, stop copying me.

Lets have sex.

Well, I already have a graduate degree, BA(hons) and a Masters degree, but I would like to finish a post graduate certificate and become a teacher.

If I wasn't lazy and and if I was ridiculously rich, I'd do my PhD, and publish my findings about something noone really cares about in the academic world, but would be considered relevant enough to award me a PhD.

Perhaps about social interactions on KMC forums and their implication on member's private lives!

*goes to write a proposal*

I'm thinking about getting my doctoral degree in history. I want to, but I'm going to be in so much debt after my JD that I don't want to accumulate anymore of it, you know?

On a side note, its funny that a lot of us have the same interests and goals. I mean, me personally, I'm writing a novel just like a few of you, but I doubt I'll ever publish it.
