You have it backwards, actually: in HP, they live in a different universe that has magic and that magic is, in some ways, like the force as it is almost a living entity (it's sort of how Dumbles described it).

In the Star Wars universe, it is all supposed to take place in the same universe as ours...just a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Also, does the force only exist in the galaxy or the universe? We talked about this: does Yoda say "galaxy" or "universe"?

Technically, all that would be required is medichlorians and some training so it wouldn't be specific to that galaxy, right? It's possible that midichlorians happen to be native to that galaxy or something? Or am I putting the chicken before the egg, meaning, midichlorians are a byproduct of how sensitive one is to the force? Am I talking in circles, at this point? Where am I? Is this real life?

Yoda said galaxy. The opening credits say "A galaxy far far away." It's fairly simple.

SWgalaxy is a different galaxy than HPgalaxy.

The force binds the galaxy together. Not the galaxies. Milky way is a different galaxy than SWgalaxy.

Accept it.

The force does not binds the Universe together.

Accept it.

K. That's what I said and wanted to make sure was clear. Same universe.

Though see my edit. HP could be in an alternate Earth, which in turn would/could be in a different universe, one could make a case for it.

Good then. The force does not bind HPgalaxy together.

Alternate? OK, I'll play........This "alternate Earth" had London in it. Was London ever shown in SWgalaxy? No. That solves that.

Alright.

See, that sentence is confusing. London is on Earth; Earth is in the Milky Way galaxy(I know you know this). The SW galaxy is a different galaxy but arguably in(or not) the same universe as the Milky Way.

Think of it as two different shops in the same mall; the mall representing the universe; the shops representing a galaxy.

A galaxy far far away......FAR, FAR AWAY......

Warp/hyperspace travel, dude.

Mhm, and?

Yes and in the past to boot.

What's the point here? Magic and The Force are both in play. Besides, Vader isn't winning this fight solo with The Force. The platoons in the 501st blasting all to shit win via vastly superior numbers.

No doubt. But the force does not bind the galaxy together here, in this thread.

So, yeah, HP is in a different universe and Star Wars took place in our universe...jut a long time ago.

We could argue that HP-verse is the same as ours, but it really isn't: we don't have a magic force that wands and wizards can tap into to perform great metaphysical actions...uhhh...sounds an awful lot like the force. THEIF!!!

What's a theif?

Yes it does. It did.

And the wizards were all killed.

Around a year ago.

Mmmmmmmmm no. unarmed Clones and a babbling Jedi are no match for them.

They dont have to be; The dead Wizards are no match for a couple of drunk Jedi, and an entire legion of clones how have only put their blasters down to have a party to celebrate the destruction of hogwarts.

🙂

Less than a hundred capable wizards aren't taking down an entire legion of battle hardened genetically modified soldiers with guns.

Just a matter of numbers. Some wizard is busy killing 10 clones with some spell; another 50+ clones blast him/her to shit. Numbers, son; the wizards don't have it.

The only pro HP argument you can make here is how many clones die before all in Hogwarts are dead and the castle is in rubble.

Yup.

And I'm afraid Hogwart's shield charm will be quite operational, when your friends arrive.

1. Invisible half apparating death eaters solo with fiendfyre, fire attack, whatever.

1 is all that's needed.

Show me an "invisible half apparating death eater" casting spells, especially long-cast spells like fiendfyre.

I can show you death eaters half apparating and casting fiendfyre.
