I love your sentences. "Almost definitely", "almost fully".

I like to exercise the virtue of prudence. Saying "Krayt definitely." opens up the risk of me being wrong, whereas saying "Krayt almost definitely." doesn't as "almost", being a relative term, is exactly defined variably depending on the person using the term. The odds that Krayt could take this could be minimal and I wouldn't necessarily be wrong.

It's the sound of the phrase. "Almost certainly" sounds better for some reason than "almost definitely." I guess the word "definite" sounds more oxymoronic when used after the word "almost."
