1) That was the anime so nice try trying to add that in here.
2) Music Videos aren't gonna save Mewtwo from his demise.
3) That song was just horrible.

1. I weren't trying to add anything. I think Mewtwo is an interesting being with a fascinating development of character, and I think that video shows it pretty well. Me linking it was irrelevant to the matter that was already being discussed.
2. I'm well aware that a music video doesn't make any difference, although even videogame Mewtwo alone is adequate to defeat Sephiroth. However, completely excluding the anime is not only ignorant, but wrong. The anime lifts out a broader aspect of each Pokémon and the powers that exist in the Pokemon universe.
3. Although I disagree, you would have to take that up with C. C. Cowgirl. She was the one that created that AMV, so that case I leave to her.

Seriously though, the video shows nothing impressive perhaps apart from that big blue beam that destroyed the building.
And his durability feat against Mew, him moving an entire landscape, him withstanding prolonged torture in a device designed to break his DNA, him levitating a good number of Pokemon like they are nothing (A Gyarados being among them) and some things that happen in relevance to various scenarios in the video.
Although everything irrelevant. Mewtwo mindwipes Sephiroth.

I can't, for the love of me, see anything even close to him moving an entire landscape in that video. I must admit that I don't get the context, but still...

He does at 1:55, although not for us to see in that video. The flashy light thing is what I'm talking about.
Again I'll mention that I had no intentions what-so-ever to use that video for this debate.

Yeah except that Mewtwo can't do it in here because he only did that in the anime. For all we know the videogame version isn't as powerful as the anime version.
Before anything else is said, Satoshi Tajiri himself has stated that the appearance and actions of a Pokémon is canon for as long as it origin from an official source. This includes: Games, Anime, Manga, TCG as well as the official Pokémon magazine.
So anything you have seen a character do in the show, in the manga or even in the TCG, it's all valid feats. Some many anime occurances are less powerful than their respective videogame incarnation, but that's an individual-to-individual fault, rather than a showing of inconsistancy.
The Pokémon used in various debates and discussions is the Pokémon that match the videogame as well as differing aspects all-together. So real canon isn't Pokémon as they appear in the game, but rather Pokémon as they appear as a combination of it all.
For example: A strenght feat only accessable in the videogame is to be taken in consideration even when discussing the anime appearance of a Pokémon, this unless you are targeting a particular Pokémon (For example, discussing Brock's Onyx, who has set feats for that particular indiviual)
I hope this brings you satisfaction for future thoughts on what should be considered canon and not.

1) Which is canon.
2) That one doesn't no. This one does so more than well enough. Although the Alakazam feat in my video is not one to be taken gently.

3) Why is it horrible? It fits Mewtwo like a glove.

MewTwo is an utter monster, and if he weren't a Pokemon, he'd be worshipped for excellent character design.
The Pokémon universe(s) is highly misunderstood. It was designed for children, therefore it's looked at with such eyes. When people think about Mewtwo, few take in consideration that he killed a lot of scientists briefly after his birth. Few also take in consideration that he wanted to exterminate the human race because they weren't worthy of his new world order.
As for feats, he virtually atomize/disintegrate metal in an instant (Which does top Sephiroth's feat where he slices the canon). He threw a large, smothered buss that was miles, a mountainchain apart with a flick of his wrist. He moved an entire island in only moments, and in the same move mindraped hundreds of elite soldiers, including Giovanni. His storm feat was done with telekinesis alone.
