Cujo versus Darkseeker dogs.....

Same scenario as "I am Legend." Except that Neville had Cujo as his dog, replacing Sam. Sam has contracted rabies and Neville doesnt know it.

Neville falls for the booby trap, Cujo goes ape shit barking, Neville cuts himself loose and is backing towards his truck, and the three Darkseeker dogs are set on them.

Neville doesnt make it to the truck, one of the dogs rips him to shreds.

Cujo's rabies kicks in as the three Darkseeker dogs circle him and the fight is on.

Cujo wins or becomes a rabid Darkseeker himself, then wins.

Cujo ftw, the fact he died in the book and film was down to sheer luck and bad writing

Well King claims to not remember even writing it, cause he was drinking so much at the time.... could be why the end was not what it could have been.

Conclusion: Cujo's satan rabies turns out to be a cure for the infection, and he technically "cures" every person he mauls for about 30 seconds, and then they die.
