Luke and Jacen win easily.
Marka Ragnos was a very powerful ancient Sith Lord. Luke was gravely concerned about his re-emergence and even decided to employ the entire Jedi Council to stop him.
However, Ragnos made a bad choice by possessing an individual who did not had much potential to utilize his true power.
Revan would be a fair match for the Caedus. He is extremely smart, a dark side adept, and knows some devastating techniques.
The tide may turn only because of LOTF Luke.

Luke had bad experience with Exar Kun, he did not wanted to go through the similar shit again with Marka Ragnos.
My point to Vorpal Ruin is that Marka was powerful enough to be a concern for some one like Luke.

"Meanwhile on Dantooine, the small Jedi academy overseen by Master Vodo-Siosk Baas is shocked to learn that a lone Jedi Padawan has disobeyed a direct order from Jedi Master ATRIS, a prominent Jedi on the Council. This single student has left behind the relative safety of the training grounds to fight alongside the Jedi loyal to Master Revan. But this young one, like the other Jedi brethren, is unaware of the tremendous dark side power wielded by Revan and the terrible secrets of Malachor V. Revan's power continues to grow, and he secretly strengthens his stronghold, hiding it even from his apprentice, DARTH MALAK."
The young Jedi could be possibly Jedi Exile.

Unbeknownst to the Jedi Order, DARTH REVAN has discovered numerous Sith artifacts and holocrons, all stored in great tomb-like cities buried beneath Malachor V's surface. As Revan plundered these tombs and relics, he fell deeper into the Dark Side. He learned of the location and the true nature of Korriban, he learned of the location of other Sith artifacts, and he learned how those strong in the light side of the Force could be seduced and made to see the strength inherent in the Sith teachings.
In a recent preview of Darth Revan's capabilities from a source, The Force Unleashed, the authors listed two of his devastating techniques:
1. Force Storm
2. Force Corruption capability
He possibly knew more as pointed out in POD Novel.

So? Just saying he was brilliant doesn't provide us with feats and specific outlines for his abilities. What exactly does Force Storm and Force Corruption do in regards to say... Sidious' Lightning, or Exar Kun's amulet blasts? We're just told that he can do them, not how they stack up against other techniques. I could say I know something called Force Obliteration, but that doesn't mean you can compare me in the slightest to Maris Brood, nevermind anyone else.
We need detailed and specific feats before we can argue a case for Revan vs. the other major Sith and Jedi, but alas, we have none.
Exactly. All we know of Ragnos' power is that he went unchallenged in the Ancient Sith Empire for a century, and that Sadow and Kressh were afraid of his ghost. While cool and awesome in its own right, there is no direct comparison or relation to their feats and abilities to the likes of the more known characters, hence the dilemma in using them as combatants.
