I just wished they stretched it to 12 issues, 7+2 wasn't quite enough, imo.

12 issues, seriously? 8 Would have been fine for the main FC storyline. And for god sakes, have the decency to not screw up the entire thing by introducing two ultimate villains in one story, the latter for ONE issue in a story supposed to be about the other villain.

But I digress. On the 12 issue thing...COIE was 12 issues, and the first 3-4 were horribly boring and could have for the most part been cut out completely or at least condensed. I could've seen 8 for COIE, IC, and FC. I'd like to see that be the standard for fundamental main events like the Crises, Zero Hour, Infinity Gauntlet, etc.

Zero Hour was too short. 🙁

Ds wins.

QFT. Great series, awesome tie-ins.

yeah, 8 or 9 issues would've been good. imo, more time needed to be devoted to the war in heaven/fall of darkseid/ALE, so we as readers knew exactly what was going on. because personally, i hate having to piece things together from several related arcs after the story is concluded... just so things make sense.

i don't think mandrakk screwed up anything for darkseid - his [darky's] story was quite enjoyable. what was ridiculous is that mandrakk was supposed to represent a threat far greater than that of darkseid, yet all DC could give him was 1/4 of a single issue in the main storyline, before he was beaten by rather ridiculous means? give me a break.

That was exactly my feeling on the matter. 👆

I agree, although it was not the real Mandrakk in FC like we saw in Superman Beyond, it might have been better to leave Mandrakk just in Superman Beyond and at the end of FC have the heroes go over all the events (somewhat like they did) and talk about Mandrakk there. 😮‍💨
