Except you just made up the bullshit with Revan and Malak. Their duel was described as "epic". Look the word up. Sadly the same couldn't be sad for the Exile and Kreia, or the Exile and Sion. More talking and less actual skill🙂

It obviously doesn't exclude the possibility that the duel was "epic" as well, but in context the emphasis is clearly on the encounter as a whole.
This confrontation erupted into a massive battle as Republic fleet forces arrived to attack the Star Forge. Endless streams of ships poured forth from the Star Forge, striking against the amassed warships of the Republic. The Sith Lord had grotesquely adapted the Rakatan device to draw energy directly from chained Jedi captives. He replenished his life force from the captives by draining theirs. Malak was nearly unstoppable, but the Republic emerged from that epic conflict victorious, as the Star Forge was eventually destroyed.

Hows this for an argument: She beat Traya in a strict no-holds-barred duel, who pimpslapped Jedi Masters around with the Force before killing them, then went to Malachor and pimpslapped a dozen sith warriors without moving a muscle.

Ah interesting. I always thought that "epic" was referring to the duel. Oh well. At any rate, the argument still begs proof that there were "circumstances" surrounding the fight between Revan and Malak. Seeing as how Malak continuously replenished himself with comatose Jedi, only to get pwned by Revan again and again, there's not much going in the way of "circumstance" regarding Revan's victory.
