"Or he could just get very pissed at us for handing over his goons to the feds," Kelly says. "It's not an easy situation, either way, but I'd prefer handin' them over and NOT dealin' with officers."
He sighs.
"Doc, get our good friend Phillip to the cargo hold. Shaftoe, get those men stripped and into the cargo hold, too. I want 'em all alive, but please remind them that if they try anything, they're goin' up the flume, so to speak."
Kelly seconds Harmony's offer to anyone who does not feel like getting involved with the thugs once the docking procedures happen.
"We linkin' up at the cargo hold, then, Harmony?" Kelly says. "Works best, we can set up our guys in there. I'm goin' with 'em."
"Yessir, as you say, sir. Everyone intending on sticking around once the transfer starts should be suited up and secured to the catwalks over the maintenance hatch before we dock. There should be plenty of cover up there, and virtually none for them, if we move the crates to the side. And if things get too rough, we can open the cargo bay doors and vent the hold entirely: since you'll be secured and in suits, you'll be fine."
Harmony unlocks the cockpit doors and opens them, ready to take in anyone not interested in a potential firefight in a vacuum.
Christopher nodded and gave Kenneth a helping hand with taking Phillip to the cargo bay.
"So, you think Niska will leave us at least somewhat alone if we give him his boys? I know he idolizes his reputation, but never heard of him chasing down a botched job... that said, has there ever been a reported job paid by him that was botched... ?"
"Let me know when everyone's in position, Captain." Harmony comms, wrapping up the docking packet to send to the pirate vessel, including instructions. She pauses for a moment when Nadra arrives, and turns around.
"The doctor not with you?" Harmony asks, "Can't say I'm surprised to see you here, but he doesn't strike me as the sort to want any part in a shoot-out..."
"Well... alright then. Take a seat and strap in. Hopefully there won't be any more bloodshed today." Harmony says, gesturing to the copilot's seat while waiting on the Captain's orders. She checks to make sure the enemy vessel is still targeted by the ship's weapons' systems, and that they won't be caught unprepared for an attack.
I will need to know who is staying in the cargo hold and who is staying as far away as possible. Part of Harmony's failsafe to this is that everyone get into the spacesuits which grant you +2 Armor to all types of harm but -2 to Agility when not in vacuum.
As a reminder, Kenneth and Christopher do not have guns on their persons.
Once everyone is organized, we will proceed with docking and what happens next.
Harmony will be in the cockpit, ready to start her docking procedure. Once everyone is in position, either in the cargo bay or in the cockpit, she'll be sealing every single bulkhead door and blast door, except the inner door for the cargo hold's airlock. She will also disable every computer console except the one in the cockpit, leaving only intercom functions on the one in the cargo hold. Then, she'll send over the docking instructions, and ready the cargo bay doors to be opened remotely at a moment's notice.
