He using the jutsu for his element. I already ok'd him to do that. I thought it would be a nice touch, kinda like your movie-like role playing.
And you aren't limited to the weapon you have. The gauntlet channels it's power into whatever you are using. Even your fists.
Nature involves like the ability to kill foliage, bring it to life, grow it over, and power over certain things.
Example: You could use thick roots from an ancient tree to seal an entrance from pursuing enemies.
And you have certain power over animals, but just one at a time to keep it fair.
