Kid had the power of the Creation itself via the Creation Equation. Proof that Faraday's powers were omniversal in scope:

"They're tears in the basic fabric of reality...We'll see how hard you laugh when the entire omniverse collapses in on itself."

"One upside of controlling all reality...? Death isn't the final curtain call it used to be."

"I have a hundred thousand -- Hell, a thousand thousand -- other Earths that I can create if I want."

"You have been the key to stopping the madness that has been unleashed upon the omniverse."

Max controlled reality itself to such a degree that he was able to totally lock down the space-time continuum, even to a being as powerful as Void:

"Max Faraday controls reality...he has closed off the venue needed to navigate time or space."

...Respect Max. 😎

^nice scans Enyalus 👆

how does wildstorm/dcu omniverse work?

Depends. When the series initially started, Wildstorm still belonged to Image. I think two issues in (it ran for 13 issues IIRC) Wildstorm got sold to DC. Currently, the Wildstorm Universe is called Earth-50 in the mainstream DC 52 scheme. But this was before Infinite Crisis.

Then again, back then hypertime was still definitely a possibility, so an infinite multiverse for Wildstorm isn't out of the question. The scans I've posted all occured after issue 3, when DC owned WS. So it's the DC omniverse. 🙂

gotcha. i was thinking this happened when dc bought ws.

Yup, for the most part it was. 🙂

Digi and I got most WS questions on lock. 😎

ws is cool. i'm really getting into it. their street level/metas are cooler than marvel's or dc's.

Incorrect. Hypertime is still active. And DC does have an infinite multiverse. Also, were those scans pre or post Infinite Crisis?

Hypertime was generally used back then and before Didio claimed DC wouldn't use it anymore, so it's more plausible that it was used in that arc than it would be now.

Also, how was I incorrect when I never said that hypertime wasn't in use now?

Scans are pre-IC.
