You obviously don't know much about Phoenix. With the IG Thanos would probably win. Without it Phoenix kills so easily it's uber spite.

The fact that you said the IG would probably beat Phoenix lets me know you don't know about it or Thanos.

I've read the IG series and know what it's capable of. What's less clear is exactly how powerful the Phoenix force is. I also know that without a plot device Thanos is below Odin which definitly puts him below Phoenix.
