Frodo's Sword

is there any thing special about Frodo's sword, i think its extremely light but is there any other thing special

Lights up blue when orcs are near?

Was made by elves in the first age as a short sword, can cut through almost any metal. Glows blue near orcs. Was apprently reforged to say "Sting is my name, I am the spiders bane."

Was made in Gondolin in the 1st Age...

its an enchanted elven dagger that was forged in the 1st age by gondolin ,glows blue if any orckin are near was found in a trolls cave by thorin and company .was given to bilbo baggins who slayed many spiders in mirkwood , than reforged it to say sting is my name i am the spiders bane (or something like that ) .than he gave it to frodo
