Iron Man 2 Continuity Question

This forum contains a SPOILER of a scene in the movie so get out if u dont want to hear about it

theres a scene in Iron Man 2, where Fury is talking to Tony about joining the avengers initative, and tony declines saying he dosen't want to join Nick's "superpowered boy band"

but in the incredible hulk tony tells ross about starting up a team

so maybe iron man 2 takes place before the incredible hulk or etc.

can anyone guess what this means

Well its a bit hard when Iron Man 2 has'nt even been ****en released.

Plus if it is a real scene isn't it slightly possible that maybe Iron man and Iron man 2 is set before Inc. Hulk? 😬 I mean the captain America movie is gonna be set during world war 2 waaaay before Iron man and Inc. Hulk

Maybe Tony has a different idea for a team than what Nick Fury has in mind - who can say? I'll wait to see the movie.
